Who we are...

Jenny Findling received her Ph.D. in Counseling from the University of North Texas in Denton, TX.  She specialized in play therapy and researched the play behaviors of children with a history of trauma. 

Jenny is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and Registered Play Therapist / Supervisor.  She has worked with children and adults in the mental health field for over fifteen years.  

 Barb Menninga received her masters' degree in Counseling from Wichita State University.  She has worked as a counselor in the Wichita public school system for many years.

The Association for Play Therapy website serves as a clearinghouse for play therapy training, literature, and registration.  Visit the site to learn more about the training that is completed by Registered Play Therapists and Supervisors.  

The University of North Texas operates the largest play therapy training program in the world.  Their state of the art facilities allow students to videotape every therapy session that they conduct, providing unparralleled opportunities for professional growth. 

The National Institute of Mental Health is a government funded research institution related to all aspects of mental health.  Their Child and Adolescent Mental Health page is quite informative. 

 Zero to Three is a non-profit organization dedicated to the healthy development of infants, toddlers and families.  Their website has a wealth of practical information.

The Children's Alliance of Kansas is an advocacy group that works to protect and strengthen the welfare of children and families in Kansas.
